Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from Warlond Plastics, including purchases made through our website, by quotation, telephone order or directly with us.
By placing an order with Warlond Plastics, you agree to these Terms of Service together with any applicable product information, quotation, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where those guarantees apply.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Where Australian Consumer Law applies, your rights under that law are in addition to any rights provided under these Terms of Service.
Product Information
Warlond Plastics supplies engineering plastics and related products for a wide variety of industrial, commercial, fabrication, machining and general applications.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, dimensions, specifications, photographs and technical information. However, product appearance, colour, surface finish, dimensions and other characteristics may vary within normal manufacturing tolerances.
Images displayed on our website are intended to assist with product identification and may not represent exact colour, finish or appearance.
Material Selection & Customer Due Diligence
Engineering plastics can perform differently depending on the application and operating conditions.
Unless Warlond Plastics has expressly agreed in writing that a particular product is suitable for a specified purpose, customers are responsible for assessing whether a product is suitable for their intended application.
Before purchasing or using a product, customers should consider all relevant requirements including, where applicable:
- dimensions and tolerances;
- temperature;
- mechanical load;
- impact requirements;
- UV or outdoor exposure;
- chemical and solvent exposure;
- food-contact requirements;
- machining requirements;
- electrical requirements;
- installation method; and
- any other conditions relevant to the finished application.
Customers should review the applicable product description, technical information and specifications before ordering.
Where suitability is uncertain, we recommend contacting Warlond Plastics before purchasing so we can provide available product information and help identify materials worth considering.
General product guidance provided by Warlond Plastics does not replace appropriate engineering, design, regulatory or professional advice where such advice is required for the customer's application.
Engineering Plastic Tolerances
Engineering plastic rods, sheets and other semi-finished products may be manufactured with dimensional tolerances.
A stated nominal size does not necessarily mean the product will measure exactly that dimension.
Customers requiring a particular finished dimension should check the relevant product information or contact us before ordering.
Engineering rods are generally supplied as semi-finished products intended for further machining unless otherwise stated.
Cut-to-Size Products
Products cut or prepared specifically to a customer's requested dimensions are custom products.
Customers are responsible for checking all dimensions, quantities, thicknesses, materials and other specifications supplied to Warlond Plastics before approving or placing a cut-to-size order.
Once production has commenced, custom cut-to-size products generally cannot be cancelled, changed or returned for change of mind.
If Warlond Plastics supplies a custom product incorrectly, including cutting it to dimensions that do not correspond with the accepted order, please contact us so the issue can be assessed and an appropriate remedy provided.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
Cutting & Manufacturing Tolerances
Cut-to-size products may be subject to reasonable cutting and manufacturing tolerances arising from the material, machinery and cutting process used.
If your application requires particularly critical dimensions or tolerances, please advise us before ordering so that we can determine whether the requested requirement can be accommodated.
Orders
Orders are subject to product availability and acceptance by Warlond Plastics.
We may contact you where clarification is reasonably required regarding dimensions, quantity, material, freight, payment or other order details before processing an order.
If we cannot supply an ordered product, we may contact you to discuss an alternative, backorder, replacement or refund as appropriate.
Pricing
Prices displayed on our Australian website are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change from time to time without notice.
The price applicable to an accepted order will generally be the price displayed or quoted at the time the order is placed, subject to correction of genuine errors and any rights available under applicable law.
Freight, cutting, handling or other applicable charges may be added where relevant and will normally be shown or advised before the order is finalised.
GST
Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed to Australian retail customers include GST where GST is applicable.
Tax invoices will be provided where required.
Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered or agreed by Warlond Plastics.
Orders may not be processed, cut, prepared or dispatched until required payment has been received or authorised.
Any applicable payment processing surcharge will be disclosed before or at the time payment is made where required.
Website Orders
Submission of an order through our website does not prevent us from contacting you if there is an issue with availability, freight, specifications, pricing or another material aspect of the order.
If an order cannot reasonably be fulfilled, we will contact you to discuss the available options.
Quotations
Quotations provided by Warlond Plastics are based on the information available at the time the quotation is prepared.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations may be subject to stock availability, material availability and freight availability at the time an order is confirmed.
A quotation may specify its own validity period, pricing conditions, production requirements or freight terms.
Where a quotation contains specific terms that differ from these general Terms of Service, the specific quotation terms will apply to that order to the extent permitted by law.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
Standard stocked products may be able to be changed or cancelled before dispatch or processing, subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Custom products, special orders and cut-to-size products may not be able to be changed or cancelled once ordering, cutting or production has commenced.
Any applicable cancellation or restocking charge will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping availability, processing times, free-shipping eligibility, P.O. Box delivery, oversized products, freight damage and delivery matters are covered by our Shipping Policy.
Delivery estimates provided by carriers or displayed at checkout are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Collection Orders
Customers collecting orders should wait until Warlond Plastics has confirmed that their order is ready for collection.
We do not generally provide on-the-spot cutting. Cut-to-size orders must be placed and prepared before collection.
Customers should inspect collected products within a reasonable time and contact us promptly if there appears to be an error, damage or other issue.
Uncollected Orders
Once an order has been confirmed as ready for collection, customers should collect it within a reasonable period.
Warlond Plastics may charge reasonable storage costs for goods that remain uncollected where permitted by law and where the applicable charges have been communicated to the customer.
If goods remain uncollected, Warlond Plastics may provide notice requiring the goods to be collected and any applicable charges to be paid.
Uncollected goods will not automatically become the property of Warlond Plastics merely because a particular period has elapsed.
Where it becomes necessary to sell, dispose of or otherwise deal with uncollected goods, Warlond Plastics will do so in accordance with applicable Victorian uncollected-goods legislation, including any applicable notice, holding, sale, disposal and record-keeping requirements.
Applicable storage, transport, disposal and other relevant charges may be recovered or deducted from sale proceeds to the extent permitted by law.
Returns, Refunds & Restocking
Returns, refunds, change-of-mind requests, custom products, restocking fees, faulty goods and damaged goods are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in our Returns & Refunds Policy or these Terms of Service excludes any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Installation, Fabrication & Use
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, Warlond Plastics supplies materials and products only and is not responsible for the customer's subsequent fabrication, machining, installation or use of those products.
Customers should ensure that appropriate tools, methods, fasteners, adhesives, fabrication processes and installation procedures are used for the selected material.
Material behaviour can be affected by machining, drilling, cutting, bending, fastening, adhesives, solvents, chemicals, temperature and mechanical loading.
Where specialist installation, structural design, engineering or regulatory compliance is required, customers should obtain appropriate professional advice.
Chemical Resistance Information
Chemical-resistance information provided by Warlond Plastics is intended to assist customers in identifying materials worth investigating.
Actual chemical resistance can depend on concentration, temperature, exposure duration, mechanical stress and other operating conditions.
Customers should confirm suitability for the complete application before placing a product into service.
Technical Information & Guides
Technical guides, material comparisons, machining information, chemical resistance information and other educational content published by Warlond Plastics are provided as general information.
This information is intended to assist product selection and understanding but does not constitute engineering, structural, safety, regulatory or professional advice.
Where an application is safety-critical, highly specialised or subject to regulatory requirements, customers should obtain appropriate professional advice and conduct any necessary testing.
Product Availability
Product availability may change without notice.
Products displayed on our website may occasionally become unavailable because of stock movements, supplier availability, discontinued products or inventory discrepancies.
If we are unable to supply an ordered item, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate option, which may include a substitute where agreed, backorder or refund.
Errors & Omissions
We take reasonable care to ensure that information on our website and quotations is accurate.
Occasionally, typographical, pricing, specification or other errors may occur.
Where we identify a material error affecting an order, we will contact the customer as soon as reasonably possible and work with them to resolve the issue in accordance with applicable law.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Warlond Plastics is not responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by the use of a product in a manner that is inconsistent with supplied product information or reasonably foreseeable requirements of the application.
This includes circumstances where loss or damage results from incorrect installation, fabrication, machining, material selection or exposure to incompatible chemicals or operating conditions, except to the extent that Warlond Plastics is legally responsible for that loss or damage.
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Third-Party Services
Our website and order fulfilment processes may use third-party services including payment providers, freight carriers and software platforms.
Use of those services may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and conditions.
Nothing in this section limits any responsibility Warlond Plastics has under applicable law.
